I was once asked to make a sculpture out of a ball of string. Make it into something it is not made for. That was the beginning of the transformation in the thought process, before the string, or in my case, the paper plates, were physically transformed into something they were not manufactured for. Thoughts precede actions... hopefully!
I use the simple white paper plate and give it a new bright shiny skin..and then hang it on the wall or place it on the lush green lawn or let it brighten up a cold snowy landscape. My thoughts do that for me too as they change the mental image of the situations I find myself in; giving them new meaning, in a new setting.. ever changing.
