I am interested in transformation.
Transformation is said to occur when there is a thorough and dramatic change.

Relational and individual transformations are expressed using simple, disposable material, mainly, paper plates. The metaphor the paper plates represent to human life and purpose is intriguing to me. In a sense, the paper plates are a visible expression of the transformation in my life; these are in essence the moments spent in contemplation about the transformations within my relationships and those around me.

Under the broad umbrella of transformation, I explore societal attitudes and relationships. Each body of work explores a different concern, from Value for Life to marriage, home and beyond.

Finally, my work is an observer's statement spoken through a humble, transient medium of paper and predominantly, a paper plate.
